PAS conference 2012 - Supporting all parents

A full house of over 200 delegates attended our 2012 annual conference at which Aileen Campbell, MSP, launched the Scottish Government's long-awaited National Parenting Strategy.

Taking the theme of 'supporting all parents' the mix of speakers, workshops, stalls and networking made for a day which many described as 'fantastic'. See our Photo Journal (PDF) for the buzz we created!

Delegates particularly valued the range of speakers, notably Suzanne Zeedyk, Karyn McCluskey and Bill Alexander and appreciated the discussions and information about parenting teenagers.

There was a great deal of interest outside the conference venue too with much online exposure and almost 3mn tweets meaning that the launch of the National Parenting Strategy went well beyond the delegates in the room.
