What Scottish fathers need during the most severe economic crisis in a generation
This report details the results of the Father’s Network Scotland survey, with over 1000 fathers in Scotland taking part.
It highlights some of the key issues facing fathers and the steps needed to ensure fathers are seen as equal caregivers to the children that they provide and care for.
The report calls for:
- Employers to adopt positive cultures within the workplace and provide family friendly flexible workplaces for all those who have childcare responsibilities
- More support to reduce financial risk, and
- More support to be given to fathers who are at risk of poor mental health.
