Hobbies research project - have your say!
Hobbies and leisure activities can have lots of benefits for children and young people, but not all children and young people in Scotland currently take part in hobbies. Parenting across Scotland has been exploring the possibility of developing a national hobby model, to make all sure that all children and young people can have access to a free hobby of their choice.
We have been learning from other countries such as Finland and Iceland where such models already exist. We'd like to find out from parents and carers, what they think are the barriers and opportunities of hobbies. Your insights will inform a new report on hobby access in Scotland.
Part of the research involves collecting the views from parents and carers across Scotland through our survey. If you are a parent or a carer of a child or young person aged 4- 17 years, then please do take a moment to complete our survey.
