Jane is a foster carer with three children
I'm a foster carer. Hubby working full time. And here with two long-term children and one short term.
I'm trying my best to keep home schooling going as best as I can. They’re P7 and P5 so have different timetables and levels of ability. And at the same time trying to keep a demanding three-year-old occupied so the older ones can do their work. And still be available to help the big ones with their work queries and reassure them that this will end, and things will go back to normal.
At the same time as being happy and reassuring for them, hiding my fears and feelings from them as to how worried I feel about this situation.
Trying to divide myself every day into three is not easy. And they are always hungry!
