Easy-read guides on pregnancy, babies and toddlers

Guides for parents with learning difficulties are available from NHS Health Scotland:

They have been developed with and for parents with learning disabilities. The resource may also be helpful for parents with other communication needs, such as those:

  • with low literacy levels
  • who do not speak English as their first language

20 short booklets give expectant parents practical information and support throughout their pregnancy journey, from early pregnancy through to a baby’s first two months.
