The Scottish Government in partnership with the Scottish
Coalition for Young Runaways has launched a Young Runaways Training
Pack: The training pack is intended to help practitioners :
- to understand the reasons and contexts from which young
people will run away;
- to understand the experiences young people have whilst running
away and, in particular, the risks they face;
- to understand the range of needs and the risks which
impact on young people and their families;
- for participants to understand their own role in meeting needs,
and identifying and reducing risk.
The training pack is contained on a USB stick, if you would like
