The Scottish Executive publishes information for parents on the Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006. This act will change the role of PTA's and encourage schools to involve parents. The guidance provides information on matters including strategies for parental involvement, promoting parental involvement, complaints and the role of Parent Councils.
