Congenital heart disease (British Heart Foundation)

Congenital heart disease affects about 1 in every 145 births. With some conditions it is discovered during pregnancy, with others not until the child is older or grown up. Some heart conditions are minor, others are serious and may require an operation. The British Heart Foundation has a wide range of publications and other resources for parents.
